We are learning to write procedures. Today we made Hokey Pokey and the children had to write the instructions out. Sorry parents if you had hyped up, sugar filled children! Many have asked for the recipe:
Goal: To Make Hokey Pokey
Ingredients: 5 Tablespoons White Sugar
2 Tablespoons Golden Syrup
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
Greased baking tray
Steps:
1. Put sugar and golden syrup into a saucepan
2. Stir over a low heat
3. Boil for 2 minutes
4. Take off heat and add baking soda
5. Pour into a well greased baking tray
Once cold - break into pieces and enjoy!

how low?
ReplyDeleteHi Thorne, about half way until it is runny then turn it up until it boils. Keep stiring all the time so it doesn't burn.
