Welcome to my class blog. I am currently teaching in the Special Needs field in Victoria, Australia. Because of the confidentiality of students I have not been able to post examples of the amazing achievements. Previously I taught at Rangiora Borough School in New Zealand. Community Constable Brine
Robbie Brine came to talk to us today about his role as Community Constable. We saw his SRBA vest - Stab Resistant Body Armour and were surprised to know that a policeman's pen and notebook are the most important equipment they carry.

Making Hokey Pokey
We are learning to write procedures. Today we made Hokey Pokey and the children had to write the instructions out. Sorry parents if you had hyped up, sugar filled children! Many have asked for the recipe:
Goal: To Make Hokey Pokey
Ingredients: 5 Tablespoons White Sugar
2 Tablespoons Golden Syrup
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
Greased baking tray
Steps:
1. Put sugar and golden syrup into a saucepan
2. Stir over a low heat
3. Boil for 2 minutes
4. Take off heat and add baking soda
5. Pour into a well greased baking tray
Once cold - break into pieces and enjoy!
