We used an Anzac memorial newspaper and copied pages then we painted poppies. We are proud of how effective they look.

Making Anzac biscuits
We made Anzac biscuits as part of our Anzac rememberance activities.
Children learned about kitchen hygiene, measuring, fractions and time and writing procedures during this activity.
ANZAC BISCUITS
250g butter 1 1/2 C sugar
3/4 C golden syrup. 2 C flour
1tsp baking soda. 2 C coconut
1/4 C warm water. 2 C rolled oats
1. Melt butter and golden syrup
2. DÃssolve baking soda in warm water
3. Mix dry ingredients into butter mixture
4. Add baking soda mix
5. Roll into balls on a greased tray
6. Flatten
7. Bake for 12 minutes at 180degrees
